With Some Reservations

...for Nationals! I hadn't seen anything on the CWCCA website to indicate that the hotel was taking reservations yet or that there was a group-rate, but I called, and they were, and they do. Soooooo, I've got a room for April 25-May 2.

I booked a non-smoking room with two double beds, so if there is anyone out there in Cardidom who is looking for a room/roommate, let me know.

I'm not 100% sure who I'm taking for dogs yet. I will most likely take Elli with me to get some Opinions on: a) whether I should breed her; and b) if so, to whom I should breed her. I may enter her in Novice Obedience if she's ready, and/or agility. I may or may not take Ian to enter in Obedience. That will likely depend on whether I have a new little blue bundle of joy tagging along. (fingers, toes, etc. crossed).

This will be my first National, and I'm so psyched! I can't wait to meet everyone in person.

  1. I can't wait either! it should be a lot of fun.

  2. We had a great time last year. Because of all the blogs, I felt as if I already knew a lot of people -- Topeka was my first Cardi National.

  3. The National is SO much fun! I've gone the last 2 times it has been in KY. It was a 10 hour drive but, oh, so, worth it! This year it is just about in my backyard, only 60 miles away! WOOHOO! Agility for both boys, and Rally Novice for Wilson, maybe Jimmy if I find time to train him.

I look forward to seeing all my blog-buddies!

  4. I really, really wish I could go this year, but it's just not looking possible. I'm hoping for money to magically drop out of the sky for me though, as flights are cheap!

I wish the show site were closer to my Aunt, as then I could stay at her place, and it could be a dual-purpose trip, but it's over 2 hours from her place, so that doesn't work.

  5. This will be my 6th National - wow! You'll have lots of fun, to be sure.
