Kudos for doing the right thing

My hat is off to Allyson Siegel of Charlotte, NC. After hearing that a 5-legged puppy belonging to Calvin Owensby was to be sold to the proprietor of a Cony Island Freak Show, Allyson ponied up $4,000 of her own money to purchase the terrier/chihuahua mix and save her from that fate. Sometimes people do the right thing, just because it's right.

And a pox upon the man who decided it was okay to sell her to that freak show in the first place "because he needed the money."
